Construction
As mentioned above, we have
worked with the same subcontractors for years. By the
time we begin our project, we have been in contact with
all our major subcontractors several times with most having
met the owners while visiting the site already. As the
start of the project approaches, our subcontractors are
consulted and we agree to preliminary time tables. Upon
the start of construction, executing the plan in a timely
and cost effective way is our first priority. We always
strive to keep a safe and clean site.
The length of a project can vary greatly depending upon
complexity. Simple kitchens can take 4 to 6 weeks; more
complicated additions and renovations and take 6 months;
and very large projects are longer.
For clients, the worst part of the entire process is
having to live through the actual construction. We are
very aware of how disruptive it is and always include
our clients in the planning process. We try to work around
vacations, holidays, visitors, etc. and do the best we
can. Once we start a project, we are there almost every
day until completion. |
