concept along with schematics.
Once
the concept is approved by the owners, the plan is turned
over to our structural engineer and then our cabinet and
finish draftsperson. In any one project, the final design
usually reflects the input of four professional designers
with a lot of additional input from our cabinet makers,
carpenters, and subcontractors. In a lot of our designs,
Essex also provides the hardscape design and collaborates
with other landscape professionals who assist with plant
materials.
Essex Associated Contractors has used the same team of suppliers, subcontractors, and woodworkers for years. Beyond the assurance of top quality, we are proud of the strong and long term relationships we have developed. These ongoing relationships ensure us much smoother scheduling. This network of craftsmen is familiar with our style and enjoys participating in refining the distinctive details that make each of our projects special.
Kevin Walsh, Paul McGrath’s nephew, has been with the
company for six years. He is the construction supervisor on
the job. He is at the site each day and is responsible for
overseeing the construction. Kevin is integral to each
project.
